Calmwise Serum's key ingredient, teprenone, has been found to visibly reduce skin redness in 1 month.
Helps to strengthen the skin's barrier function against the redness-inducing effects of moisture loss and environmental stressors.
The fragrance-free formula won't aggravate irritated skin further but, instead, leaves it feeling calm, comfortable and visibly restored.
This innovative, anti-redness serum supports sensitive skin by helping to prolong the life of the skin cells. The DNA within our skin cells contains a string of amino acids called telomeres, which shorten continuously as we age. Eventually, they become so small that they trigger cell death. Teprenone works by helping to stabilise telomeres, extending the life of the cell and, consequently, enhancing the skin’s natural barrier function against external irritants. As a result, the skin’s sensitivity to external stressors is reduced. In independent studies, teprenone has been shown to extend a cell’s lifespan by as much as a third.
